What’s behind the norovirus outbreak at the Olympics?

First, here’s the official story:

USA Today: “The organizing committee for the Pyeongchang Olympics has called in 900 military personnel after more than 1,200 security workers were pulled off duty because of concerns about the spread of the Norovirus, Christophe Dubi, IOC executive director of the Olympic Games said Tuesday.”

“Later Tuesday evening, the organizing committee said 32 cases of Norovirus had been confirmed and those people were quarantined after being treated. Those 32 cases involve 21 private security staff members from the Horeb Youth Center and 11 people from other locations, including three foreigners.”

“In a statement, POCOG said that starting Sunday workers reported headaches, stomach pain and diarrhea. The Gangwon Province Health and Environment Research Center found 41 workers with symptoms that might be related to the virus. The others have been pulled from duty to prevent possible spreading of the illness.”

“The workers are largely responsible for checking credentials and screening baggage entering the venues. The military personnel were brought in from about 40 minutes away.”

“…The organizing committee said ground water used in food and beverages at the Horeb Youth Centre — a housing facility — was suspected.”

Here’s the problem. Officials admit the illness appears to be coming from contaminated water, and you can’t reduce that situation to a single virus. Forget the sophisticated analysis. Bad water contains bad things. A number of them. If you didn’t clean up the water in the first place, you’re going to have trouble.

The norovirus, as an explanation, is a convenient cover story. It seems to explain the outbreak of illness—but it doesn’t.

The virus hunters at the CDC are trained to look for the single viral culprit. That’s what they always do. They’re medical, not environmental. They don’t want to find the true answer when it’s something in the environment, because medical solutions don’t work. You have to clean up the water.

Over the past 30 years of investigating medical ops, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen this pattern repeated. Ignore the environmental contamination; blame a single virus. It’s a sham.

Taken to an extreme, you would get something like this—gene researchers look forward to day when genetic modifications would protect humans from all sorts of environmental contamination.

Translation: Let corporations and governments pollute to their heart’s content; “altered” humans would be safe.

That may sound like science fiction. And it is. But researchers are working to make it fact.

They’ll fail.

Meanwhile, at the Olympics, there better be a fleet of huge trucks carrying clean water to the workers and the athletes, or the problems they’ve encountered so far are going to get worse, much worse.

Years ago, in an off-the-record conversation, a public health official readily admitted to me that contaminated water always contains a number of noxious substances that endanger human health. “If you’re saying it’s this virus or that virus, you’re lying,” he said. “You have to go back to the beginning and clean up the water.”

“Virus hunters don’t like that solution,” I said.

“Of course they don’t. It puts them out of business.”

The norovirus is just one more lame medical cover story.

    Right on! Couldn’t agree more.

  2. There is no asthma bacteria, asthma virus or even asthma disease. Asthma is a collection of symptoms, some are subjective. The EPA needs to show cost/benefit ratio to prove regulations. Therefore the EPA claims Ozone, NOx, SOx, VOC, particulates, even dust and pollen cause asthma. Despite significant reductions in the ‘human’ caused factors, there have been continuous increases in magic asthma.

Asthma is DIRECTLY linked to anti life biotics and it’s devastating side effects on the human body . You read that right anti life biotics . I have often said ANYTHING 200 years or newer in medicine is detrimental to the human body , FACT.

    No so-called “virus” needed,…

Contaminated water (poop (feces), factory chemicals, pesticides (agriculture chemicals), heavy metals) can cause diarrhea, throwing up, nausea, stomach pain, fever, headache, body aches, dizziness when standing up.

The wonders of contaminated water. See how simple that works?

Do we need to bring back the United States Sanitary Commission of the 1860s to shame and blame the CDC “doctors”?

That’s interesting about the Sanitary Commission. Thanks for passing this along!

I call it the chemical age , the REAL killer of humanity . The good old CDC needs to be SHUT DOWN , a.k.a The Centre for Disease Creation sounds about right .

me thinks I spot a pattern…Everytime, from now on when the Olympics happen so does a major virus…

    riiiiight

  5. Winston Smith says:

Oh wait, They’ll find a vaccine for this and everything will be awesome. Nothing to see here

The evening news has turned into a Mad Hatter’s tea party.

everyone seems to miss the real story who are they bringing in? the military whose military?

    • Theodore says:

I thought that part of the story was just… the private security contractors got sick, so, bring in the South Korean national guard or army as a substitute… That the IOC would fill in that gap by just requesting it form the host country only.

But, maybe there is something more to that part of the story, as you allude to, that we should also focus on.

Jon – Check this out: http://megasociety.org/noesis/200.pdf Go to the article entitled “Viruses Create More Biodiversity Than Any Other Comparable Taxon.”
Bottom line (as you already know): Our immune system must be in tip top shape… or else. Simple exposure to bacteria and viruses is NOT the main issue. All scientific effort should be toward maximizing immune (and overall body) health… which, of course, would lead to the conclusion that everyone should live in tune with Nature’s Laws. That would eliminate whole swaths of the food industries, agriculture industries, health care industries, legal industries, government industries, etc, etc.
Some quotes from the above article:
“There are 15-25 million viruses in a teaspoon of seawater… The total number of virus particles is 10 times the total number of cells on Earth… Approximately 10^23 viral infections occur in the ocean every second…”

Would really like to hear your opinion regarding Fukushima! My guess amongst all the present confusion is that we’re all slowly being poisoned and that a major destraction will come into play shortly to confuse the entire scene . Are marine mammals dying from radioactive contamination and are we also? Of course there is many nucular hot spots all over the globe, but what will be the end game being plotted out. There are no individuals, just a lot of useless eaters and destroyers. That’s my view point briefly condensed. […]

  10. Eochaidh OghaChruithne says:

The U.S. government is desensitizing the world ahead of its use of biological weapons against North Koreans and Chinese. Jim Keith who appeared on Coast to Coast AM as well as a former C.I.A. agent explained that the government has Asian-specific germs genetically modified from Clostridium bacteria.

  11. Joel W says:

Some type of bio/chem attack as punishment for the Russian athletes being allowed to compete AND North & South Korea playing nice with each other?
